Today I would like to introduce you my current favorite smoothie. It is perfect for hot summer days as a snack or refreshment for in between.You just need the following ingredients.
Ingredients for the summer smoothie:
- 100 g red currants
- 50 g of frozen blueberries (it also works with fresh berries, but the smoothie gets a nice texture and refreshes even more if you use frozen berries)
- 100 ml oat or almond milk
For the preparation remove the currants from the stem and wash thoroughly. Together with the blueberries and the plant-milk, pour into a jar or a stirrer. Mix it to the desired consistency. And it’s done!
I like that it has a fruity and sour taste because of the berries. If you like it more sweetened you can use your favourite sweetener at the end to refine it.
