Homemade Potatoe Fries

Today I was sitting comfortably at home and thought about my dinner. Then I had the idea to make homemade potatoe fries.

The fries are super quickly and easily prepared. You need no more than the following ingredients and a sharp knife:


– 4-5 large potatoes

– A bit of salt

– Seasonings to taste (I suppose for example: paprika)

Preparation Potatoe Fries:

Cut the potatoes into small fries shaped chopsticks. The tray can be removed with a peeler before you cut the potatoes, I personally like it with.

After cutting you can put the still raw fries into a bowl with cold water to get the starch out of the potatoes. If you do that, it has the advantage that the chips become crispy during baking.

Thereafter, the fries are dried with a clean kitchen towel and placed on a lined baking tray. It is best that the fries lie well away from each other and not overlap.

Then put the whole at 200 ° C in the oven. Observed the fries until they are nice light brown and crispy, in my case it took about 12 minutes.

Now you can start with the spice. I prefer seasoning with paprika and salt.

The fries can now be enjoyed with all kinds of dips and sauces. My favorites are ketchup and guacamole.
